Ashley Rachel Villa, Esq. leads RARE GLOBAL with a unique combination of expertise and experience. As both a manager and attorney, she built her career at a defining moment of industry change—when content creators and YouTube stars grew into powerful brands that would transform the entertainment and digital media landscape.
Through a singular vision for a female-focused and female-run management company, Ashley brings competitive brand strategy and leading management experience to RARE’s diverse and in-demand client roster, including some of YouTube’s most successful creators. She also consultants for select brands and entertainment entities within the digital media space.
Before founding RARE in 2015, Ashley was legal counsel at StyleHaul, the pioneering YouTube multi-channel network. There, she worked to standardize and set precedent for protocol and agreements in digital media, fashion, and beauty.
Prior, Ashley gained experience as an attorney in film and entertainment: first at Lionsgate Entertainment Corp. under the Office of the General Counsel, then at Sierra/Affinity LLC, where she specialized in international film and television licensing and distribution, feature film production, film finance, and television development. While in law school, Ashley interned in the business and legal affairs department at Fox Sports and was an extern for the Honorable Judge Margaret M. Morrow of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Ashley received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Loyola Marymount University in 2011. She is also a proud Bruin, having attended undergrad at UCLA, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Global Studies.
She is currently a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. She is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association (Entertainment Section and Intellectual Property Section), Independent Film & Television Alliance and the Non-Scripted Attorney Association.
A California girl for life, she resides in Los Angeles with her maltipoo Mochi.
Cavic’s expertise provides RARE clients with full-service management, offering unprecedented support to develop their careers in both the digital and traditional media space.
Cavic was a talent manager at ROAR for the past 8 years where she oversaw ROAR’s television talent department. As a part of the management team who represented the Hemsworth brothers, Alice Braga, Elsa Pataky, and Matt Passmore amongst others, Cavic was one of the first in the industry to break YouTubers into traditional media.
Cavic joins RARE with clients who are amongst an elite group of talent including actress Paris Berelc (Alexa & Katie) and Deva Dalporto (My Life Suckers).
Vannga is a creative director and producer with 10+ years of experience in branding, marketing, and design. She advises on strategy and produces campaigns, collateral, and special projects for brands, companies, and digital media stars across fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
In 2014, she founded The ADVNT Society—a digital magazine, editorial studio and creative agency specializing in fashion content, events, and production. She also specializes in women’s projects and events, and (along with Ashley Villa) is Co-Founder of The Be Rare Foundation, a non-profit for female entrepreneurs.
Vannga founded RARE CREATIVES, the division of RARE which manages rising creative talent in photography, hair, and makeup.
She attended undergrad at UCLA.
Teresa has 9+ experience working with Fortune 500 companies, agencies, and brands including MySpace, 20th Century Fox and NBC Entertainment, in digital marketing, social media and publicity roles. In 2010, she started Digital Candy PR, a boutique social media and PR agency, with a mission to bring exposure to trail blazers in fashion, art and entertainment. Teresa received her M.B.A. from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business. She attended undergrad at UC Davis.
